Nan very much loved her ballroom dancing, was always happy but dearly missed her late husband my grampy Clive.
Nan was always someone you could go to for a chat, vent or even advice, nan always put others before herself and at times very stubborn when it came to needing help.
Nan very much loved her ballroom dancing and taking part in competitions with her husband winning many awards.
Nan was sadly diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer back in November 2024 after her GP initially said the pain she was experiencing could be linked to her gallstones, a CT scan was taken after going back and demanding a scan be done as she was not coping with the pain, the CT scan showed a mass in the pancreas, liver and part of her lung.
Nan sadly passed away 21st December 2024, 25 years to the day her late husband passed away from a heart attack in 1999.
Nan is forever missed by her 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
I chose to support pancreatic cancer UK in her memory as i want to raise awareness of the disease and hope it the future more can be done for early diagnosis of this horrible disease.
I'm hoping this tribute fund will help raise money for early testing and diagnoses to anyone who experience any of the symptoms.
