Harry Rickett

A devoted, kind and loving Dad, Father-in-law and Grandy who was always there for his family.
Harry was a true gentleman, a trooper, greatly loved by all his family and friends. His passions were cars...as long as they were Fords, watching football and DIY. He was always willing to help and was a great craftsman building fences, wardrobes, toys and anything we needed. Harry was also good fun and would have us doubled up laughing with the funny things he would say. He cared for his wife Jean when she became ill, never complaining.
Sadly, he died on the morning of New Year's Eve 2024 from pancreatic cancer after a short stay in hospital, where we celebrated his 92nd Birthday on Boxing Day. We had a donation box at his funeral which raised £276 for Pancreatic Cancer UK. Harry taught us well and loved us well and we are glad to support this charity in his beautiful memory.
