Win Sande

A kind, loving, selfless and utterly charming man - "a true gentleman" as so many have put it - Win touched many hearts during his long and happy life. He is remembered with deep affection by his family, friends, colleagues and the huge number of patients he served with tremendous care and courtesy throughout his 40-year career as a doctor of medicine and General Practitioner in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Win passed away on March 8th, 2023, at the end of a courageous two-year battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer. While it is painful for us to have to say goodbye, we are so grateful for the time we were able to spend with him.

He fought his merciless illness with incredible bravery and resolve. Pancreatic cancer is typically diagnosed late, and has one of the worst survival rates. Pancreatic Cancer UK provide vital information to sufferers and help fund research to improve diagnostics.
