Thomas Oram

The best Husband, Father, Father-in-Law, Brother & Grandad we could wish for. Sadly passed from Pancreatic Cancer on 20th September 2020.
From his wife Rosemary and daughters, Viki, Georgina & Katrina.
Thomas Oram, a wonderful husband and father sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer on 20th September 2020.
He was just 72 and in otherwise good health with so much to live for and look forward to in his retirement. As with all things he faced his illness with dignity and determination but sadly lost his battle just a few short weeks after diagnosis.
This type of cancer is notoriously tough to diagnose, tough to treat, tough to research, tough to survive and is being left behind. Just 2.1% of UK cancer research funds are directed towards Pancreatic Cancer.
Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers but not for pancreatic cancer. Too few people survive (in the UK only 3% of patients survive past 5 years of diagnosis).
We want to support Pancreatic Cancer UK in his memory because we desperately want to help others not to suffer a loss like ours.
Tom is remembered by many loving friends and family and your donations, however small, will help to defeat this devastating illness.
For a wonderful Husband, Dad, Father-in-Law, Grandad, Brother, Brother-in-Law and Friend. X
