My mum could light up a room with her infectious smile and have people in tears with her cackle of laugh. She was an amazing lady.x

My mum was diagnosed April 2021 with stage 4 pancreatic cancer against the odds she battled and gave an amazing fight for 2.5 years. I'm hoping this tribute page will help get the support this evil cancer needs, it's the least funded cancer and yet its the most deadliest. More research needs to be done and GPs need to recognise the early symptoms instead of saying its indigestion. I'm also hoping that anyone that is diagnosed that they have access to a medication called creon, so many pancreatic cancer patients are not prescribed this and its a life saver as it replaces the pancreatic enzymes that are lost and therefore helps patients eat and makes them have the nutrients they desperately need whilst they fight this cancer.

My mum was a brilliant wife to my amazing dad, and a brilliant mum to me and my brother and mother in law to my husband. She's left a huge void in our lives and I hope one day this cancer get the funding it desperately needs.
