Our Dad was so kind and loved his wife, daughters, grandchildren (and playing cards!!) above all else.

Losing our Dad has been devastating. There were only 6 weeks between diagnosis and our Dad dying. In that time he never complained - only problem being that at the age of nearly 88 he didn't feel up to working in the shop (Tam Shepherds Magic and Trick Shop in Glasgow, where he had worked since 1965). But at home he was (as always) never without a pack of playing cards.

This illness is so ferocious and aggressive and it hit us unexpectedly. We really hope that by supporting Pancreatic Cancer UK we can help their important research in a small way. Early diagnosis is difficult and by the time symptoms appear it is often too late.

We hope that in the future early diagnosis and treatment will help other people facing this situation.
