Dad was one of a kind. He loved playing golf, watching football and gardening. Above all he loved his family and little dog Lucy.

Dad faced his illness with dignity and bravery beyond belief. He was incredibly proud of his humble start in life and he worked hard to provide a better life for us all. Dad was always a guiding light, and the one we turned to for advice. He was a no-nonsense Yorkshireman, Leeds United fan and a true gentleman.
