Remembering Barry Bate

A lovely man who meant so much to so many through life. Think of him as you always have.
Barry was a man of many talents who believed in life long education and learning. Following the diagnosis of inoperable Pancreatic Cancer he was soon asking about Chemotherapy trials. Yes, they may give him an advantage, but importantly he had the opportunity to help add to the research into and learning about the cancer.
Pancreatic Cancer UK is all about supporting people like Barry with information, understanding if they need 'an ear'. Its campaigning to raise awareness is so necessary even within the medical profession and research funding imperative if survival rates are to improve. Barry knew that and would like you to donate whatever you can to this organisation.
