We lost Mum to pancreatic cancer back in 2018 - tragically she only had 8 weeks from diagnosis. It has completely changed our world but we are not alone; in fact it's just crazy to know that more than half of people diagnosed with this cancer die within 3 months. Indeed while survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, this is not the case for pancreatic cancer. It remains tough to diagnose, tough to treat, tough to research and tough to survive.

Losing Mum was the hardest time in our lives but today, on what would have been her 61st birthday, we have chosen to turn sadness into positive action. We have created this page as we wanted to make another donation to Pancreatic Cancer UK in Mum's memory, and thought others might wish to do the same.

To date, with your incredible support, we have raised a combined total of £8271.14 for The Margaret Centre and Pancreatic Cancer UK. Considering that £142 could help develop a simple test for pancreatic cancer by paying for one hour of research, we think Mum would be super proud of our efforts so far and overwhelmed by everyone's generosity.

We're just hopeful that with more funding, it's more likely that those clever scientists out there will be able to find new treatments and improve speed of diagnosis so that others stand a greater chance.

Thank you so much for reading. Please feel free to leave a donation or simply a message of support.

Happy Birthday to the most wonderful wife, daughter, sister, friend and Mama. We love you.
