Lesley was a happy soul that brought sunshine to all that knew her. She was fierce, classy, intelligent, loving and a wonderful mother.

Lesley lost her battle with pancreatic cancer within 3 weeks of her diagnosis at the age of 38. She is survived by her partner, 3 children (16, 3 & 1) and dog.

The spread of her cancer went unchecked, with no symptoms, until it was stage 4. By this time there were no treatment options available.

Lesley fought to enjoy her remaining days with remarkable strength. She was still making friends in the hospital and impacting peoples lives until the very end. Something she did each week as a Midwife, supporting soon to be / new parents. She was truly one of a kind and we are all so much better for having known her.

The family wish to support this cause in her memory. We would like to see more preventative measures for pancreatic cancer, through affordable, readily available testing. The statistics surrounding pancreatic cancer make for terrible reading, anything we can do to change this for the better and potentially spare other families from this anguish, is worth doing.
