My dad was my hero.

Peacefully at home on 9th December 2021 after a short illness borne with his usual strength and dignity. Les, darling husband and best friend of Lilian, proud dad of Susan, Andrew and their partners and papa of Jamie, Arabelle and Lily and master of his best pal Cruachan. Retired Chief Inspector of Argyll Country & Strathclyde Police. Sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral service at St. Oran's Church, Connel on Wednesday 22nd December at 12noon followed by interment at Pennyfuir Cemetery, Oban. The cortege will leave from the family home at 09.05am and travel along West Clyde Street passing The Clyde Bar before heading to Connel, giving friends a chance to pay their respects. Donations, if desired, to Pancreatic Cancer UK.
