Katherine was a lovely bubbly person who enjoyed life! She lived for her family and enjoyed spending her time at her second home in Cyprus.

Katherine was taken ill at the start of covid in March 2020, she initially thought she had Covid but following a visit to the hospital was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.

She had an unsuccessful Whipple operation in June 2020 where the tumour could not be removed, as it was wrapped around a main artery. She started her chemo in August, which whilst gruelling, she battled through and kept a smile on her face at all times! The initial results were promising as the tumour remained stable. She subsequently started radio therapy again with promising results. In August 2021 she started to feel poorly and got taken into hospital with Billiary sepsis. The treatment for this was antibiotics and an procedure to insert a stent into her bile duct.

Unfortunately after further examinations and due to her deteriorating health the procedure could not be done. Katherine sadly passed away on 11th September 2021.

Katherine is sadly missed by her husband and family.
