We have opened this page in memory of our dear Mum, who passed away suddenly but peacefully on 13th December 2022, on her 76th birthday.

She was the best Mum, wife and Grandma anyone could wish for. She was full of life, always ready with a smile and always willing to help anyone. She loved her family and was an adoring and proud Grandma to her 4 grandchildren. She is very sorely missed.

Mum was diagnosed with an upper arm clot at the end of October 2022, following her left arm swelling up. She appeared fit and healthy until starting to feel unwell at the end of November 2022. She quickly became very unwell but we did not know why as she was not seen face to face by doctors, only given advice and prescriptions through phone consultations.

After she passed away unexpectedly, it was discovered that she had pancreatic cancer.

We have opened this tribute page to raise much needed funds into research for this terrible disease. We hope an early detection test can be created to allow more time for treatment to hopefully be successful. We would like GPs to have more training and be made more aware of some early symptoms so that others will have more of a chance of survival.
