Kenny Vernon

Kenny was an active and very out going man for the age of 64. He was a family man through and through, he did everything he could for them
Kenny was a devoted father, son, brother and friend to all of those around him. He did everything he possibly could for them, even with the many difficulties life threw at him. You could always have a laugh with him and he was the most comforting person to open up to about any problems you were facing
In 2020 when he started feeling pain across his stomach, we knew something wasn’t right because he never complained and he never missed a days work if he could help it. Due to the strain on the nhs and from the global pandemic, it took Dad 2/3 months to get a diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer. Sadly 4 weeks later after a courageous fight he passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
The world is so much darker without him in it and we miss him deeply every day. We only dream that if we would’ve known the symptoms sooner and there was more awareness of this disease, then maybe we could’ve had more time with him.
Therefore we will do everything we can to raise awareness and funds in order to prevent other families from facing this devastation.
