In loving memory of our dear mum Karen

Karen fought so hard, and she went through hell and back trying to fight this cancer.

She was lucky enough to have The Whipple surgery, which Is a potentially life saving surgery to remove the tumour. Unfortunately less than 10% of people are eligible, because the cancer is found too late.

Sadly her cancer came back 3years after The Whipple surgery, now classed as inoperable and so her chemotherapy journey began.

Karen only had 2 rounds of chemotherapy left, and her recent scan showed stability.

Sadly, she fell ill with pneumonia and never recovered.

Pancreatic cancer, has been under funded for more than 40 years, making it one of the most deadly cancers! We need to make a change.
