Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend
Dear Ian was sadly diagnosed in March 2022 and passed away on 24th July 2022 fighting to the end.
Carole, Louis & Louise (Mum, Dad & Sis) wanted everyone to remember Ian and make a donation to help battle this awful disease.
There will be a get together on Saturday 3rd September from 7.30pm in the Delme Arms pub in Fareham to raise a glass to Ian in celebration of an extraordinary life
A tribute to Ian
We all knew him as Fig
He was crazy and fun
With a heart that was big.
Family and friends all over the world
From Fareham to Las Vegas
Teenage holidays and fancy dress
So many memories he gave us.
Always having a laugh and joke
Especially at "Ripsnorter" gigs
Frog and Frigate Friday nights
With lots of snakebite swigs.
He enjoyed his travels
And loved his guns
"Splash Squad" games
And copious rums!
Although he moved so far away
Social media kept us all close
His points of view entertained us still
Right up to his last Facebook post.
We will miss you Fig
