Harry Ferres

Everyone said “what a lovely man”. His passion was developing life saving/changing drugs, including an antibiotic and a thrombolitic.
Sadly, Harry’s ampullary cancer took his life in 5 months from first indication to his death, despite his Whipple surgery. Having been a research scientist with GSK, he would support my desire to find advances in treatment of pancreatic cancers.
