Dot was an amazing mum, nan, sister, auntie and friend who always had a smile on her face which could light up the room.
Dorothy May Young, 'Dot', peacefully passed away on Thursday 16th July surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Dot was the life and soul of any party and will be sorely missed by family and the huge circle of friends she had.

Cremation service is by invite only due to current circumstances. Dot had requested flowers from family only and donations will be warmly received for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

As most of you may have known nan was battling pancreatic cancer for a while now, and she sadly lost this fight. The whole way through her battle she always had that warm smile on her face and her head was always held high not a day went by where that smile wasn't there. We are all so proud of Dot as she never let this nasty cancer bring her down, no matter what she was always up the market on a Friday and going to town on a Saturday she loved going there.

Dot made a lot of friends that she could always rely on and she was very proud of the friends that she had.

As a family we would love to share this memory with you so here it is " Last year Mum/Nan went on a trip to Searles Hunstanton, where she used to take her children when they were all younger. Her children and grandchildren all went and spent time with her to relive all past memories.

Dot was an amazing mum, nan, sister, auntie and friend who always had a smile on her face which could light up the room.

To show you all how Dot took all of this in her stride, it was a very windy day we were walking past the chip shop at Hunstanton and her wig decided to blow off from her head, unlucky for the wig a dog decided to nearly pinch this wig, in true style nan was in fits of laughter and picked up her wig
