David Gardner

The most loving Husband, the kindest Dad and the funniest Grandad you could ever wish for.
We never knew our Dad had cancer, not until he had his first stroke at the end of October.
Then two months later, on Christmas Eve, he was gone.
We still can't believe he isn't here anymore.
The journey during those two months broke our hearts forever.
Dad was an amazing father and a great role model for both myself and my sister. Hardworking, strong, caring, loyal, protective and encouraging. But his sense of humour and his huge kind heart is what made him our dad and a fantastic grandad, adored by both his grand children Keira & Aiden.
Mum and Dad have been married 51 years and met when they were 17 and 18. In love and Devoted to each other every day since the day they met.
Dad always put his family first and always put us before himself.
He loved his brothers and cared about his friends.
He was the fixer of broken things, the master of decorating, the taxi of our teens and the one we turned to when we needed help and support.
He loved to make people laugh and always tried to make people feel welcome. We will miss his stories and the late night chats about politics. The circling of shows in the Radio Times at Christmas and the cuddles when we haven't seen each other in a while.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
His memory will live on with all of us.
The Charity...
When I phoned Pancreatic Cancer UK they were kind, supportive, informative and listened to me for ages.
They asked for nothing in return.
So in my Dads name, in his memory. We would love it if you could donate to this fantastic charity who do so much, with so little.
We love you dad.
You are forever in our hearts xx
