David Lewiston Sharpe

Passionate about music, history, the arts and nature, David put his heart and soul into everything he did.
David was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend who impacted the lives of everyone he met. His kind and caring nature made you feel loved, and he could make you laugh out loud with his sense of humour. David was a talented composer whose work was played by orchestras across the country and abroad including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Chichester Cathedral and at the Chapel Royal. He took pride in teaching young musicians to reach their full potential but was always there to teach his niece and nephews a thing or two on the piano. David was a lover of history with Egypt being a particular passion. He published journal articles on Egyptian history and hieroglyphics of which he could both read and understand. David could often be found exploring the great outdoors, walking, and taking in nature. He loved to write poetry, draw or read a good book. David lost his short battle with pancreatic cancer and died suddenly. He will be missed by everyone who knew him and life won't be the same without him there.
