David Lee

Dad was an amazing man with the biggest smile. He was eternally generous and the best dad we could have hoped for.
Dad was a truly amazing man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and son in law. Nobody who came into contact with him had a bad word to say about him and even right to the very end, he was still cracking awful dad jokes and telling long winded stories.
Dad was only diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in July, just 4 months after his third and fourth grandchildren were born. This cruel disease robbed him of seeing his grandchildren grow up as he passed just 3 and a half months after his diagnosis in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Current government restrictions mean that not only was dad taken far too quickly and too soon, he also doesn’t get the send off he deserves.
Sadly with pancreatic cancer it is often too late to treat once any symptoms show. This tribute fund will hopefully support some of the work Pancreatic Cancer UK are doing on early detection of this awful disease.
We miss you every single day dad. Be at peace now xxx
