Chris was a kind, caring & private person. She had integrity & principles. She worried for those she loved & would do anything for them

This June 2024, Chris' 11 year old grandson James and son Scott, will be taking on the Walk 60 Miles in June to help fund pancreatic cancer research challenge. We hope anything we raise will help get the world closer to finding a cure, and potentially stop any other family going through the pain that we are feeling from losing a loved one so suddenly.

Chris was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister that was taken from us all too soon. When she was diagnosed in February 2024 with a rare Duodenal Cancer, they told us it was operable and that she wouldn't even require chemotherapy. Fast forward to her Whipple operation on Monday 11th March, and mid way her surgery was stopped, we were phoned and they told us the cancer had spread. They now diagnosed her with Terminal Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer with 6-12 months to live. Upon returning home to recover from her operation, she quickly deteriorated, returned to hospital where they confirmed that in those 4 weeks it had spread to her Liver and Lungs. She passed away a mere 4.5 weeks later from her diagnosis on Friday 12th April 2024. After what our family has been through, we would like to give her donations in lieu of flowers directly to Pancreatic Cancer Research, in the hopes that we can help no other family go through the heartache and pain of such a sudden loss. Chris has left a huge hole in our family, a loss we will always feel.
