Royal Parks 42km walk

Mother’s Day is special for many of us, our family and friends. We would like to invite you to share in all or part of a 42km walk across London, covering all of its beautiful Royal Parks. This will take place on Saturday 18th March and Sunday 19th March 2023.

We hope this will be a day for our families to come together, full of fun and laughter, as we celebrate the day together, with our loved ones, and in memory of Marie.

The Royal Parks were special to Marie, who lived near to Kensington Gardens where she walked most days with Ava and Rob. As she explored London she had many a happy moment across its parks.

We will post further information in December, including a signup link to the event, our plans across the two days and a training plan for those of us who need a gentle nudge as we improve our fitness ahead of the day.

Our plans are to have a tracker link so you can see where we are to join as you wish, and for scheduled stops for lunch & refreshments, and shorter sections for younger children to join.

We will look to continue our support for Pancreatic Cancer UK through the walk, and if you are able to ask friends & family for sponsorship please do so by sharing this link.

Rob will be running the London Marathon on 23 April 2023 so this is a lovely segue into the family’s future plans to support the charity in memory of Marie.
